Armed man opens fire on bus in Malisheva

An armed individual has opened fire with an AK-47 at a bus in the village of Pagarusha in Malisheva.

This was confirmed by Vlera Krasniqi, police spokesperson for the Gjakova region, who said there were no injuries.

"At around 12:10, information was received regarding an armed attack on a bus in the village of Pagarusha in Malisheva, whereupon the relevant police units responded immediately and proceeded to the scene. As a result, the suspect was arrested and, in coordination with the state prosecutor, has been detained for 48 hours. An AK-47 type weapon was also seized. There are no injured persons as a result of this incident. The case has been opened as 'Attempted Aggravated Murder' and is currently under investigation," she announced.
